All that glitters....

Okay so today started the "Activity" portion of GRFG.  Now before I tell you about what I did let me start out by saying that I was excited and I've done this activity live.  I just bought the Zumba Wii workout dance game.  IT KICKED MY BUTT!!!  This 20 min workout felt like an hour.  I've done the class live which lasts an hour and a half.  I hurt.  Am I really that out of shape?  I mean it's been a few months since I've raised the heart rate but sheesh...I felt like my chest was going to explode.  But I got through it and I will do it again tomorrow.  I'm going to start going back to the live Zumba class this week.  (I've now said it so I must go).  It really is a full body workout. Everything is kinda sore right now.
I don't think I would make it on The Biggest Loser or Fit Club or Heavy or any show that would require me to workout until I puke. I think I'm more like the tortoise than the hare.  Slow and steady wins the race.  Oh who am I kidding I'm just slow and lazy.  I'm taking the lazy girls approach to losing weight.  Sure it may take me all year to see results but I know I will get there. OK I'm kidding slightly.  I know I have to shake it up and get into it.  I just won't be like a contestant on a weight loss show.  Or it will be like a weight loss show just not one as demanding.  That sounds good.
So tomorrow it's Zumba again.  I'm only on easy but I know by March I'll be at the next level.  Hey tomorrow is FEB 1.  So give me 29 days.

As always...thanks for following....

Keep up the good work Rhodie! I'm really enjoying your blog. Coming from someone who spends most of her day thinking about what to eat and not eat, and the other part of her day working out, I know where you are coming from. Remember, "activity" is a huge part of your goal. It may be hard now, but just keep looking for things you enjoy doing and sooner-or-later you will find yourself craving those activities. They will give you energy and a sense of accomplishment and that in turn will make you look and feel great! Lots of love and support for you girl :-)
